MSP - LOADER - NPDES OUTFALL 004 - 07172017 A front-end loader, operated by a Mosaic employee, traveling along a mine road, broke through a berm and overturned within an NPDES out-fall conveyance ditch, which created a sheen on the discharging water. There was visible indication that sheen was passing through the out-fall's V-notch weir. It is undetermined at this time whether the sheen is coming from the exterior of the machine being washed by the discharge effluent; or, if the diesel tank has been compromised. The amount of released fuel has not been determined at this time. 07/28/2017 10:20 EDT Mosaic South Pasture Mine 2220 Mineview Road; Bowling Green FL; 33834 Hardee Santino Provenzano Sr. Mgr.
