A contractor doing directional drilling breached a 6" force main causing approximately 5,410 gal of sewer into an excavation pit that overflowed into a storm drain. The storm drain system leads to a pond not in the state of overflow. An estimated 16,000 gallons was recovered from excavation pit/storm drain/pond. Investigative sampling of pond to begin 3/18/23. |
