7/17/19 A sanitary manhole was overflowing at 8300 77th Ave N. Seminole 33777, PCU responded and cleaned the line with a pressure truck. Crews cleared obstruction and vactored approximately 500 gallons. Area was rinsed down. UPDATE 07/23/19: The spill was originally reported incorrectly on 7/18/19 to have soaked into the ground with no storm system affected. Water Quality Monitoring (WQM) received updated information from the responding field personal on 7/22/19 that the spill occurred alongside a roadway, soaked into grass as well as potentially entered Cross Bayou Canal through the storm sewer system. Samples were not taken due to the time between the overflow and WQM receiving correct information on the event. Due to this time lapse, WQM determined that samples would not show meaningful results. WQM will continue to reinforce the SOP for SSOs and continue training all responding field personal on reporting information so we can improve the communication and transfer of information between the two sections. 07/18/2019 18:59 EDT South Cross Bayou AWWTF 7401 54th Avenue North; St Petersburg FL; 33709 - 1374 Pinellas Matthew Wotowiec Water Quality Monitoring Manager mwotowiec@pinellascounty.org (727) 582-2341 Water Quality Monitoring Manager Steve Soltau (727) 453-6990 ssoltau@pinellascounty.org 27.842 -82.754 07/17/2019 22:40 EDT No 07/17/2019 23:40 EDT N Incident Location

City of Casselberry Overflow On 7/18/19 from 5:30-6:30 AM the surge tanks at the City of Casselberry Water Reclamation Facility overflowed 20,000 gallons of wastewater. This was caused by a faulty Analog Input Module which is part of the SCADA controls. When this hardware failed, it caused the surge pumps to shut down and once the storage capacity was exceeded, it overflowed. SCADA techs replaced the faulty module and the impacted area has been cleaned. The State Warning Point has already been contacted (Incident Number 2019-3957). 07/18/2019 14:15 EDT City of Casselberry Water Reclamation Facility 700 Cross Street; Casselberry FL; 32707 Seminole Dawn Swailes Water Reclamation Superintendent dswailes@casselberry.org (407) 262-7725 Operator Of the Facility Dawn Swailes (407) 262-7725 dswailes@casselberry.org 28.683355 -81.316882 07/18/2019 05:30 EDT No 07/18/2019 06:00 EDT Incident Location
