Wastewater spill- 2741 NE 39th Street Lighthouse Point The spill was caused by water infiltration from Hurricane Nicole, causing overflow from the manhole. The estimated volume of wastewater discharged was ten thousand (10,000) gallons. The spill entered a nearby storm drain. A water body was impacted. The estimated volume of wastewater recovered is to be determined. 511 N Bonita Ave 11-10-2022 Incident Description: On 11/10/2022 crews responded to a spill coming from MH #R3M-15A which is located along a gravity line parallel approximately to 511 N Bonita Ave, in the creek bed upstream of LS #77. Cause of spill was sand accumulating in LS #77 due to destabilized sediment in creek bed upstream. Blockage was jetted and vacuumed and spill cease at 11:00 am on 11/10/2022. OUC Stanton Energy Center RO product water tank overflow Reverse Osmosis product water from an industrial wastewater treatment process was accidentally released from the receiving tank due to a malfunction of a tank level sensor switch. The release estimated at 23,000 gallons, occurred at approximately 2:00 am on 11/10/2022.
