Marshall st Reclaimed Spill 11.20.22 Incident Description: Onsite reclaimed storage tank overfilled due to sensor failure. The spill was not noticed immediately due to local thunderstorms. The tank overflowed for approximately 50 mins at 4.5MGD flow. We estimate that 156,250 of fully treated, low nutrient reclaimed water was spilled into an onsite storm water retention pond. The reclaimed water has not migrated from the plant site. Aquaculture Wastewater Overflow Atlantic Sapphire is providing notice that at approximately 08:00 on November 17, 2022, the Effluent Buffer Tank at the injection well pump station overflowed; concurrently, an aquaculture process wastewater tank (Overflow Buffer Tank) also overflowed. The aquaculture wastewater entered the farm┐s stormwater drains (private) adjacent to the tanks and into a heavily vegetated area in an ingress/egress easement for a future road that abuts the farm┐s south property boundary. By approximately 08:50, the overflows were stopped; recovery of a portion of the aquaculture wastewater was possible adjacent to the Overflow Buffer Tank.
