OCU SWRF 9-13-17 Contact Chamber |
The SWRF's Chlorine Contact Chamber overflowed through a spillway and unchlorinated, treated facility effluent (unchlorinated reclaimed water) entered the south storm water pond. The retention pond did not overflow; the pond water level was (and remains) 3 feet lower than the pond outfall invert elevation. Therefore, no discharge flowed into Shingle Creek.
Approximately 352,500 gallons of unchlorinated reclaimed water was discharged, and 400,000 gallons was recovered from the storm water retention system. |
