Discharge went to drainage swale along roadway; area has been stabilized with lime. Casselberry WRF Overflow #2 Due to increased flows from Hurricane Irma, approximately 60,000 gallons of semi-treated water from the clarifier supernate to the filters overflowed onto the grounds of the City of Casselberry's Water Reclamation Facility some of which made its way to the wetlands located adjacent to the facility. Overflowing pump station started on 9/11/17 @ 11:17 and ceased at 9/11/17 at 12:33 . Signs have been posted. Waterway Affected: Intracoastal Waterway. Spill amount: 3,042 gallons. Cause of release: Hurricane Irma resulting in power failure at pump station. Samples have been collected. Samples met state surface water criteria. Monticello Staging Site. At 16:00 p.m. on 9/13/17, Marco Emergency Fuel Management was performing a fuel transfer operation at 3079 North Jefferson St., Monticello, FL 32344, which is a temporary staging site for restoration efforts due to Hurricane Irma. During the process of fuel transfer, the Marco Emergency Fuel Management driver inadvertently overfilled the tanker resulting in a release of 30 gallons of diesel fuel from a tank vent to asphalt. No waterways or drains were impacted by this release. The driver became aware of the release and shut down fuel transfer operations to respond to the release using absorbent pads and absorbent litter to soak up the release. An undetermined amount of raw wastewater discharged on the ground. There may be potentially affected areas beyond the installation location. 4208 Cortez Rd. Force Main Break Broken force main discovered , repair crews worked to contain and repair. Sewage effected ground area around underground pipe. Did not effect any water body. Repair was made, sewage was vacuumed up with trucks.
