Reclaimed Water Overflow Approximately 6 MG to 20 MG of treated effluent overflowed from ground storage tanks at the Apopka WRF. The event was due to a combination of excess flows from Hurricane Irma and a loss of power. The onsite backup generator for the plant's reuse system is not capable of running all of the high service pumps and could therefore not send water out as fast as it was being put into the tanks. Power was not restored to the plant until 9/13 at approximately 1630 hours. 09/14/2017 12:30 PM Apopka WRF - Project Arrow 333 Snowden Rd. ; Apopka FL; 32703 Orange Kirk Boulerice Chief Operator kboulerice@apopka.net (352) 453-9325 Operator of the Facility/Installation Kirk Boulerice (352) 453-9325 kboulerice@apopka.net 28394.52 813015.57 09/08/2017 04:00 PM No 09/13/2017 05:00 PM N Incident Location
