ARV broke causing SSO at 7751 Military Trail ARV sheared off at the manhole wall behind the 2" isolation valve at 7751 Military Trail. Florida Gas Transmission (FGT) - 18" ML third party line hit At approximately 3:00 pm on 3/21/2019, a third party contractor rupture FGT's 18" ML natural gas pipeline at the intersection of 112th Street and 77th Avenue in South Miami, Dade County. Natural gas was released to atmosphere but no fires and/or explosions occurred. The police and fire departments were call to scene by 911 call. The fire department evacuated a 400 ft. radius of the area. Electric power was also lost. All parties were allowed back to the area and power was restored by approximately 9:00 pm. No injuries and/or fatalities occurred. Intersection of US Hwy 27 N & Posner Blvd SE in Davenport A contractor accidentally broke a brass nipple off of a 2 inch corporation stop that was attached to a 20 inch force main. Approximately 28, 368 gallons of raw wastewater discharged on the ground where they were working and was contained. The corporation stop was replaced to prevent a recurrence. Approximately 10, 800 gallons was recovered and properly disposed of. The affected area was also treated with lime. City of Crystal River Raw Water Loss At approximately @ 2100 hrs a call was received about a possible wastewater leak located in the vicinity of NE 11th Street and NE 4th Avenue. Crews responded onsite @ 2115 hrs. crews determined that a12" force main had broke affecting the surrounding grounds, Crews worked to isolate the break and diverted the flow to a force main running parallel to the affected line and the discharge was stopped at approximately 2130 hrs. It is estimated that approximately 6,000 gallons were lost, a vac truck was called onsite to assist in the recovery, and it estimated that 2,000 were recovered resulting in a total loss of approximately 4,000 gallons.
