Diesel Spill - Whiteway Dairy Rd, Ft. Pierce In the early morning hours of 2/18/18, it was discovered that Tank No 03 on Facility ID 8945161 was leaking diesel fuel. An estimated 1000 gallons of diesel fuel had saturated the ground and ran into a drainage box that discharged into the surface water of a nearby ditch. Discovery was made by visual observation. After containing the spill on-site, local and state authorities responded and the diesel on top of the surface water was contained. The cause of the discharge was a 3" crack in the pump housing. On-site clean up is still ongoing. 02/26/2018 08:40 EST Guettler & Sons 4401 Whiteway Dairy Rd; Directions: I-95 to SR70 (Okeechobee Rd).
