Wastewater Spill - NRWWTP A wastewater spill occurred due to an electrical outage at the headworks of the North Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant. Aproximately three thousand, nine hundred gallons of wastewater was discharged. It is estimated that two thousand gallons of wastewater was recovered. No waterways were impacted. As part of the corrective action, the breakers were reset to reestablish power. TWA Sandhill WRF Effluent 10-14-20 On October 13, 2020, starting at approximately 2:30 AM for 30 minutes, an effluent reuse spill occurred at the TWA Sandhill WRF. Approximately 1,800 gallons of treated effluent spilled at the facility due to an underground broken treated effluent pipe. The spill flowed to the onsite storm water pond, and has already percolated into the soil there; none of the spill left the property. Red Cedar Dr and Live Oak Blvd Force Main Break A crack in a pressurized sanitary sewer pipeline occurred near a previous repair. An estimated 3,000 gallons of wastewater spilled, 1,000 gallons were recovered and remaining spill reached the stormwater system. small sewage spill approximately at around 2:00am on 10/13/20 Power went out to the property due to a transformer issue. TECO repaired the issue within 30 minutes and lift station was back functioning. Around building 23 on the curb by manhole we had around 30 gallons of spillage. All has been cleaned and taken care of. 2020-10-12 LRECD Clarifier No. 2 SSO An unplanned release of secondary effluent occurred at Loxahatchee River District's plant site when a contractor (CROM), acting on their own, assumed rainwater had accumulated in the effluent launder of clarifier No. 2, which was being worked on. They placed a sump pump in the clarifier effluent box and pumped approximately 1000-gallons of secondary effluent to an adjacent grassy swale.
