USFilter will be initiating a substantial modification this month for the inclusion of three 30,000 gallon (cone bottom) ASTs. The tanks will serve as day tanks and allow for better screening (according to USFilter PCB policy) of incoming materials. We are planning to install the tanks in the front portion of the west tank farm where T-83 and T-150 were previously located. Those tanks were removed during the last permit application process (June 2003), and documentation was provided as part of that permit package within the Unit Management Plan. Included was the letter from Hillsborough County EPC, STC Department, identifying the tanks were properly closed. Should DEP require any additional documentation, please feel free to contact me. Given T-83 and T-150 were identified in the newest application as being removed, USFilter will not be able to claim replacement of existing storage. Engineering and myself will be working on the modification and hope to submit it by the end of February. Thanks again for your guidance....
