Cofrin Nature Park
A unique partnership between FCT, the City of Gainesville, and Alachua County Forever, the county's conservation land program, preserved this 30-acre former horse farm. The park contains Beville Heights Creek, a high-quality seepage stream, as well as upland mixed forest, seepage slope wetlands, and mesic flatwoods. A half-mile loop trail, complete with benches and interpretive signs, provides views of these natural features. Other visitor amenities include picnic tables, bird feeders, and a tennis court.
