Liberty Park and Liberty Trail

Liberty Park is located on the breathtaking Lake Henderson. It's the perfect setting for a picnic, either under the pavilion or down by the lake in a grassy spot. Afterwards visitors can walk, ride a bike on the Rails to Trails, play a fun game of volleyball on the sand court or launch a canoe on Lake Henderson for added fun.

Contiguous to Liberty Park is the Liberty Trail, a lakefront linear boardwalk whose winding walkway connects to Wallace Brooks Park and Liberty Park via the Withlacoochee State Trail. Visitors can take a nice leisurely walk through cypress trees, observe native wildlife, including alligators and turtles, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Liberty Park and Liberty Trail are open from sunrise to sunset, seven days a week.
