Sun 'n Lakes Preserve

The 1,350 acre preserve is a large, mostly undisturbed, area containing a variety of plant communities including large areas of xeric uplands, cutthroat seeps, and wetlands. The preserve is centrally located between the two most populous cities in Highlands County and is positioned along the western boundary of the county. Passive recreation such as biking, hiking, bird watching and fishing are activities that are encouraged on this property.
