San Carlos Bay Bunche Beach Preserve

This preserve is a pristine, completely natural area that is indicative of the area before the introduction of exotic plant species, it is Old Florida. San Carlos Bay Bunche Beach Preserve includes passive recreational day use which includes birding (the preserve is site #32 on The Great Florida Birding Trail-South Florida, paddling (the preserve is site #1 of the Great Calusa Blueway-Lee County Paddling Trail-Estero Bay), sun bathing, swimming, photography, fishing, walking, and wildlife viewing.
