
Silver River Parcel
Silver River Parcel is a 220 acre site within the 4,666 acre Silver Springs State Park. Access to this County owned site is through the State Park main entrance. The parcel offers nature trails with interpretive signs amidst the classic Central Florida natural beauty of upland sandhill, oak hammock, seasonal wetlands and two sinkholes. There are benches and picnic tables along the trail to rest, have a bite to eat or quietly observe the area wildlife including Sherman's fox squirrel, gopher tortoise, Florida pine snake and American Kestrel.
