Minnehaha Park

Minnehaha Park is an 8.8 acre site containing a parking area, playground, tennis courts, youth lodge with and frontage on Lake Minnehaha and the Nina Canal. Minnehaha Park is located within a large single-family residential area and has excellent access via Horatio Avenue as well as by foot or bicycle. Renovations are planned for the playground to create three distinct age targeted play areas with direct supervision opportunities by moms and dads for toddlers, youngsters and early teens. With an emphasis on active play and climbing apparatus selection this grouping of playground features will provide `family' oriented interaction areas to provide heightened security and supervision capability.
