
Bear Point Sanctuary
A 13.3-acre wetland park, Bear Point Sanctuary is best known for its large area of mangrove forest, which serves as a fish and birding habitat. Special items of interest at the park include: summertime water level draw-downs, which attract up to 24 species of waders during their post-nesting period; and guided walkabouts/boat tours, which can be scheduled through the St. Lucie County Library system.
