Ocean Bay Preserve
Located between the Atlantic Ocean and Indian River lagoon, the 33-acre Ocean Bay Preserve contains a quarter-mile interpretive trail that leads site visitors through a thick coastal strand/hammock system, containing some very large sea grape, wild lime and Spanish stopper. The dune is an excellent example to view the influences of ocean winds and salt spray on vegetation.
