Cypress Preserve Conservation Park

Cypress Preserve Conservation Park is a 6.38-acre degraded cypress/laurel oak strand swamp. The water table no longer supports regeneration of natural cypress, and only a few remain. Natural Landscaping has been added along the winding paved walkway through the site, providing access to several observation platforms along a retention swale. This area is being planted as a butterfly garden to enhance the natural character of the park. A parking area, bike rack, picnic shelters, interpretive signs and restrooms are located on the property.
