
Chapel Trail Nature Preserve
Chapel Trail Nature Preserve is a 460-acre wetland that was established in the 1990's. The wetlands are a natural habitat that are important in South Florida, which depends on the marshy areas to absorb and clean water as it seeps into the water supply in the Biscayne Aquifer. A large variety of wildlife call the park home, including birds, deer, rabbits, alligators, and turtles.
