Cypress Creek Nature Preserve

The Cypress Creek Nature Preserve consists mainly of forested wetlands within the Cypress Creek floodplain with small areas of pine flatwoods, xeric and hydric hammock, borrow pits and sandhill. The property is part of an extensive wildlife corridor and many endangered, threatened and species of special concern have been documented there. The corridor connects Cypress Creek with the Hillsborough River and the Green Swamp in Pasco and Polk Counties. An extensive trail network provides ample hiking and wildlife viewing opportunities throughout the property.
