Peace River Hammock

Peace River Hammock is a beautiful part of the Peace River Corridor of conservation lands that border the meandering Peace River. The primary communities are floodplain swamp and forest. Wildlife which may be observed include: wading birds, hawks, turtles and alligators. During the rainy season, expect wet conditions and mosquitoes. Poison ivy is also abundant on the site.
