Governor's Park

This centrally located park combines a panoramic vista in the capital city with wide open spaces and majestic woodlands. The 190 acre site provides ample space for quietly observing nature, picnicking on the grass, flying a kite, and walking, running and biking opportunities.

The main park access road is off Blairstone Rd, 0.6 miles north of the Park Ave intersection (30.449731,-84.250985). Additional walking and biking trails can be accessed by a small footpath on the north side of Park Ave, 0.3 miles east of the Blairstone intersection (30.441965,-84.244891).
