Buck Creek Preserve
Buck Creek is dominated by a combination of scrubby and mesic flatwoods, where gopher tortoises are commonly seen and a bald eagle makes its home. There are two freshwater marshes that occur onsite and are havens for several species of wading birds, along with the mangrove fringe along the creek bed.
