Esther Street Beachfront Park

Esther Street Beachfront Park located at 501 Esther Street in New Smyrna Beach was developed as part of a community enhancement project, which also supplements the stormwater management facilities within the N. Atlantic Avenue neighborhood providing much needed flood abatement improvements. In fact one of the creative designs within the Park involved constructing a regulation volleyball court within the typically dry retention area to serve a dual purpose. The Park provides for much needed off beach parking, restrooms with outdoor showers, ADA water fountain, picnic pavilions with access to and from the beach via stairs and handicapped ramp system. Esther Street Park is designed to be an active neighborhood park facility offering hiking/fitness trail, wildlife observation platforms with educational kiosks and children¿s playground equipment.
